Design notes
This portrait design is set like a laser-printed cheque. The top half is the draft: the student's name in copperplate on the payee line, the program on the FOR line, the award in the amount box, a bronze rosette seal, two signatures and the MICR line. A dotted tear line marked DETACH HERE leads to the scholarship advice, with the date issued, a list of achievements, the terms of the award and the credential ID beside a QR code. The tall page suits letter-size files and A4 student portfolios.
About
Scholarship Certificate for Students, Award Draft Portrait
A scholarship is often paid in parts, each term or each year, and it may renew only while the student keeps good standing. The student, the parents and the school's financial aid office all need the same facts in one place: who gave the award, for what, how much, and on which conditions. That is why a scholarship record works well as a full page that goes into a file or a portfolio.
Wording on the template“Awarded for outstanding academic merit, leadership and service to the community. This award supports the recipient's tuition and study costs for the academic year.”More wording ideas for scholarship certificates

Subject: name, you have been awarded a scholarship
Dear name,
We are delighted to tell you that the scholarship committee has chosen you for this year's award. Your results, your leadership and the way you give back to those around you stood out among many strong applications.
Your scholarship certificate is ready. Open it to see your award, download a copy to print for your family, or share it on LinkedIn and in your applications.
Your award letter with the full terms follows separately. Congratulations, and we look forward to seeing where your studies take you.
Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.
Post for the recipient to share
I am grateful to share that I have received a merit scholarship for the coming academic year. It will help with my tuition and lets me spend more time on my studies and on the projects I care about. Thank you to the scholarship committee, the donors who fund it, and the teachers who pushed me to apply. #Scholarship #StudentLife
Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.
Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
