A doula certificate template gives a training organisation a ready way to mark the end of a birth or postpartum doula course. Doula schools, childbirth educators, birth centres and community health programs give it when a learner finishes their doula certificate program: the course work and, in many programs, a set number of attended births.
A good one names the program and says what the doula is now trained to do: continuous emotional, physical and informational support for a family before, during and after birth. It lists the topics covered, the hours and births attended, the date and a signature from the trainer or program director. It should not suggest a medical or midwifery qualification, because doula care is non-clinical.
The designs here come as certificates in A4 and US Letter and as digital badges, so a new doula can frame the certificate and add the badge to a directory profile or website.

FAQ
Questions, answered
No. A doula gives non-clinical support: comfort, information, advocacy and steady presence. Doulas do not do clinical tasks or give medical advice, and they work beside the midwives, nurses and doctors who give the medical care. The wording on the certificate should make this clear.
A training certificate shows that a person completed a course. Certification is a separate step that some organisations offer after training, often with attended births, client evaluations, reading and an essay or exam. Say on the certificate which of the two it records.
It depends on the program. Some training courses end with the classes alone; others, and most certification paths, ask the trainee to support a small number of births, often around three, with feedback from the families or the birth team. Write the number on the certificate when your program counts them.
No. Give the number of births attended, not names, dates or places, so the families keep their privacy. The training organisation keeps the evaluations in its own records.
Training certificates usually do not expire. Organisations that certify doulas often ask for renewal every few years with continuing education, so add a valid-until date only when your program has that rule.
Yes, because they are different trainings: one covers labor and birth, the other the first weeks at home with feeding, newborn care and rest. Keep one design for both and change the program name, the topics and the practical part. The lead trainer usually signs, often with the program director.
