A caregiver certificate template helps a care provider mark the end of a training course for the people who look after older, ill or disabled adults day to day. Home care agencies give it to new staff after induction, training centres and community colleges give it at the end of a short course, and carers' charities give it to family members who finish a caring skills program.
A good carer certificate says what the course covered and how it was taught: the hours, any supervised practice, and the main skills, such as personal care, safe transfers, nutrition and hydration, infection control and the client's rights to privacy and choice. It names the provider, carries the trainer's or manager's signature, and shows a valid-until date if you run yearly refreshers. It records training; it is not a licence.
The designs come as printable certificates in A4 and US Letter and as digital badges to share online.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Yes. Carers' charities, hospices, councils and community centres run short courses for people who look after a relative or friend, and a certificate is a kind way to mark the end of one. Word it for what was taught, for example moving a person safely or caring for someone with memory loss, rather than as a job qualification.
No. A general caregiver course certificate shows that the person finished the training it names. Whether a care worker may help a client with medicines depends on the employer's policy and the local rules, and usually needs separate training and a check of competence. Keep the certificate to the skills that the course really covered.
Say what the person did in plain words: the course name, the hours, whether it included supervised practice, and the skills covered. One or two sentences are enough. Avoid words like licensed, certified or registered unless a separate body really gave that status.
Ideally both. The trainer confirms that the course and the practical sessions were finished, and the registered manager, training lead or program director signs for the organisation. In a small agency one signature from the person who runs the training is fine, with their role printed under it.
It depends on the employer and the place. Many agencies refresh topics such as moving and handling, infection control and safeguarding every year, and some states and care regulators set yearly in-service training for paid care staff. Set the valid-until date to match your own refresher policy, and issue a new certificate after each refresher.
