Fishing Tournament certificate templates and badges
3 free designs. A set is one design as a badge, a landscape or a portrait certificate, or all three.
Free for up to 20 recipients a year
A fishing certificate template gives clubs and event organisers a ready way to honour the anglers who stood out: the winner of a bass tournament, the child who landed the biggest fish at a family derby, or the member with the heaviest bag of the season. Fishing clubs, scout groups, summer camps, parks departments and charity tournaments hand them out at the weigh-in or the awards dinner.
A good fishing award says what was caught and how it was judged. Name the species, the weight or length, the total bag where it counts, and the rules the catch was made under, such as catch and release or a live-weigh limit. Add the date, the venue and a signature from the tournament director or weighmaster.
The designs here come as printable certificates in A4 and US Letter and as digital badges that winners can share.

FAQ
Questions, answered
The species, the weight and, if you measured it, the length. For a tournament add the total bag weight, the date, the lake or river and the category, such as heaviest single fish or heaviest limit. These are the facts anglers compare later.
Yes, when the award is for a weight. The tournament director signs for the event, and the weighmaster or head judge signs for the number they read on the scales. Club events may have the club president sign instead.
Common extras are big fish of the day, the smallest legal fish, the most fish caught, best junior angler, best first-time angler and a sportsmanship award. Kids' derbies often give every child a participation award so nobody leaves with nothing.
Anglers keep their fish alive in an aerated livewell and bring them to an official weigh-in, where a judge weighs the bag on certified scales and releases the fish. Some events use photo or measure-board rules instead, where the fish is photographed on a ruler and released straight away.
Straight after the final weigh-in, while everyone is still at the dock, or at an end-of-season banquet for points series and club leagues. Sending the digital award the same day lets winners share it while the catch is still news.
Gyotaku is the Japanese art of printing a real fish in ink on paper. Anglers in Japan used it to record a catch at its true size, writing the species, date and place beside the print, so it suits a certificate that is itself a catch record.
