A summer school certificate template gives you a ready record for the end of a short academic program held in the summer break: a pre-university course, an international summer school on a university campus, a credit course at a college, or a school's enrichment weeks in mathematics, writing or science. Each student who completes the program receives one, usually on the last day or once the final results are in.
A good one names the program and its length, says what the student took part in, such as the modules, lab sessions, a final project or an exam, and carries the issue date and a signature from the program director. The designs here come as certificates in A4 and US Letter and as digital badges, so a student can keep a printable summer school certificate in a portfolio and share the badge online.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Either works, and many programs show both. Most summer schools last between one and eight weeks, so the length tells a reader how much study the certificate stands for, while the dates place it in the student's school or university record.
Yes, when there is room. A short list of modules, such as mathematics enrichment or science lab sessions, shows what the weeks covered, and it helps a teacher or an admissions officer who reads it months later.
That depends on the program's own attendance rule. Decide it before the first day and tell students, then give the completion certificate to those who met it. Students who did not can receive a certificate of attendance instead.
Only when the program itself is credit-bearing. Some university summer schools award credits that a student's home institution may accept, but that is the home institution's decision. When credit is given, write the number of credits and the level on the certificate; when it is not, the certificate records completion.
Not quite. A certificate of attendance says that the student was there; a certificate of completion says that the student also finished the required work or assessment. Some programs issue both and give the completion certificate only to those who met every requirement.
Yes. Applicants often list summer courses to show interest in a subject or study at a higher level. A certificate with a verification link lets admissions staff confirm the program and its dates in one click.
