Stop the Bleed certificate templates and badges

A stop the bleed certificate template gives you a ready record for a short, practical class in bleeding control. Schools, employers, sports clubs, security teams, fire and police services and independent instructors run these sessions so that anyone nearby can help after a serious injury before an ambulance arrives. The certificate goes to each learner who finished the hands-on part of the class.
A good one says what the person practised, not only that they attended: spotting bleeding that is life-threatening, pressing firmly on the wound, packing it and putting on a tourniquet, all on a training model. It also shows who ran the class, the date, a refresher date and a way to check that it is real.
You will find printable certificates for A4 or US Letter paper here, plus digital badges that learners can show on their profiles.

FAQ
Questions, answered
No. The national program keeps its own records for classes taught by its registered instructors. These templates are your organisation's own record of a bleeding control class you ran. Do not add the program's logo or call the certificate official unless you have permission to do so.
List what the learner actually practised in the class. Usually that means recognising bleeding that is life-threatening, keeping themselves safe and calling for help, applying direct pressure, packing a wound on a trainer and applying a tourniquet.
Anyone can, and many classes are open to the public. Groups that often book one include teachers and school staff, security and event teams, coaches, workplace safety representatives, flight and transit crews, and police and fire personnel.
There is no single rule. Hands-on skills such as packing and tightening a tourniquet fade without practice, so many organisations choose a refresher period, often one to two years, and set the certificate's valid-until date to match.
It is clearer to keep the certificate of completion for people who did the hands-on practice. For a talk or a demonstration, give a certificate of attendance instead, so the record shows what the person really did.
Real tourniquets have a strap where responders write the time it was put on. The design uses that strap for the record instead: it shows when the certificate was issued, when it runs out and its credential ID.
