A quiz competition certificate template gives organizers a finished record for the end of the final round. Schools, colleges, libraries, clubs and workplaces run team quizzes as house heats, inter-school finals, society nights and charity events, and hand certificates to the winning team, to placed teams and often to every finalist.
A good quiz certificate names the player or the team, the event and the stage, such as a heat or the grand final, and the result. Many organizers also list the rounds that were played, add the date and a credential ID, and ask the quizmaster and the scorekeeper to sign, so the certificate reads like the official scoresheet.
The designs come as certificates in A4 and US Letter and as digital badges, ready to print for a prize assembly or to send by email the same evening.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Most school and club quizzes use teams of three or four, with one or two reserves. Small teams keep every player involved, and a team captain gives the final answer when the team does not agree. State the team size in the rules before the first heat.
Most quizzes use a tie-break question. Often it has a number for an answer, and the team closest to the right figure wins. Others play sudden-death questions until one team answers correctly. Put the tie-break rule in the competition rules before the first heat.
Yes. Issue one certificate to each player with their own name and the team name in the statement, so every member can keep and share it. Reserves who played in a round should get one too.
Common rounds are current affairs, history and geography, science, sports, literature, and arts and culture. Many quizzes add a picture or audio round and a fast-answer round at the end. Listing the rounds on the certificate shows what the team was tested on.
Name the stage on the certificate, for example Heat 2, Semi-final or Grand final, together with the event name and the date. A team that wins a heat and then places in the final can receive a certificate for each stage.
Announce the results as soon as the scores are checked, while the teams are still in the room, and give printed certificates at the prize table or the next assembly. Send the digital copies the same day so families and teams can share them.
