Design notes
This landscape design is the whiteboard that hangs in every inpatient room, with its aluminium frame, grey corner caps and a navy marker on the tray. Under the teal MY NURSE bar, the nurse's name sits on a magnetic plate held by one coral magnet. The board's fields carry a note of thanks, the program, the date, the credential ID, who nominated them, three things they gave, two care team signatures and a QR code. It suits a unit that wants a thank-you its nurses recognise at once.
About
Nurse Appreciation Certificate, Care Board Landscape
Nurses Week, which in the United States runs from May 6 to May 12, Florence Nightingale's birthday, is when hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes and home health agencies stop to thank the people who give bedside care. Many units collect nominations from patients, families and colleagues and hand out a certificate of appreciation at a huddle or an awards breakfast; others use the same award for a nurse of the year or a nurse who went beyond on a hard shift.
Wording on the template“Thank you for the care you give on every shift: the skill, the patience and the kindness that patients and families remember long after they go home. Presented with gratitude and respect, on behalf of everyone you cared for and everyone you worked beside.”More wording ideas for nurse appreciation certificates

Subject: name, a thank-you from your patients and your care team
Hi name,
This Nurses Week we want to say what we do not say often enough: thank you. Patients and families leave our unit remembering the nurse who explained, listened and stayed calm when it mattered, and very often that nurse was you.
Your certificate of appreciation is ready. Open it to read the message, download it to print for your locker or the break room, and share it on LinkedIn if you like.
With thanks from your whole care team.

Post for the recipient to share
Nursing is mostly small moments nobody writes down, so it meant a lot to receive a certificate of appreciation from my unit this Nurses Week, with a nomination from a patient's family. Thank you to the nurses, aides and doctors I share every shift with. We do this together. #NursesWeek #Nursing

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
