Design notes

On this landscape page the rescuer's count is the rule under the name: six blue tally gates of five, numbered 5 to 30, then a wider pause and two red-orange rings marked 2 breaths. Below it sit the program, duration and level, a short statement, five skill chips, the instructor's signature and a footer that lists when it was issued, when it runs out, its unique ID and a code to scan for checking. A calm, drill-like record to frame or file.

About

CPR Certificate Template, Tally Count Landscape

Short CPR and AED classes teach ordinary people what to do in the minutes before an ambulance arrives: check for a response, call for help, push hard and fast in the centre of the chest, give rescue breaths, use the defibrillator and clear a choking airway. Employers, schools, sports clubs and training providers run them in a few hours on adult, child and infant manikins, and the instructor signs the certificate once each learner has passed the practical skills check. Many employers file a copy and ask for a new one when it expires.

Wording on the template“Practiced on adult, child and infant manikins and passed the instructor's skills check: recognizing cardiac arrest, calling for help, and keeping up chest compressions at the right rate and depth until help arrives.”

Subject: name, your CPR training certificate is ready

Hi name,

Well done on finishing your CPR class. You kept count on the manikin, practised the breaths and used the AED trainer, and you passed the skills check.

Your certificate is ready. You can view it online, save a PDF to print for your employer or school, and share the badge on your profile. Note the valid-until date and book your next class before it passes.

Thank you for giving up an afternoon to learn this. Your team is better prepared because of it.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

This week I took a hands-on CPR and AED class. Counting thirty compressions out loud on a manikin is harder work than it looks, and the instructor made sure we each did it right before signing us off. I am glad to be one more person at work who knows what to do. #CPR #AED

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Send both. They do different jobs.
