Design notes

Here the badge is drawn as a classroom timer. Its ring is cut into the three phases of a lesson, starter, main and plenary, with the long main phase picked out in a second colour, and the face reads TEACHER TRAINING with PD under it. The words stay large enough to read at thumbnail size. It suits a PD course, an in-service programme or a coaching cycle that gives one mark to everyone who completes it.

About

Teacher Training Badge Template, Lesson Timing

A digital badge is the quick way for a teacher to show finished training where people look for it: a LinkedIn profile, an email signature, a staff page or an online portfolio. Schools, districts and training providers award it next to the certificate, so the full record of hours and areas covered stays one click away on the credential page.

Subject: name, your teacher training certificate is ready

Dear name,

Thank you for taking part in every session of our professional development course. Your certificate is now ready. It records the course, the PD hours and the areas we covered, with a credential ID that anyone can check.

Open it to download a copy for your portfolio or your PD log, print it if you keep paper records, and share the badge on LinkedIn if you would like colleagues to see it.

We hope the new strategies are already working in your classroom.

With best wishes from the training team.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I have just finished a 20-hour professional development course on assessment for learning and differentiated instruction. The most useful part was planning real lessons with the new strategies and trying them with my own classes the next week. Thank you to our trainers and to the colleagues who shared their plans, and their mistakes, so openly. #TeacherTraining #ProfessionalDevelopment

Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.
