Design notes

The whole badge is a stadium-shaped track seen from above: three terracotta lanes with white lane lines, a gold kerb round a chalk-white infield and a single finish bar on the home straight. A navy band reading CHAMPION crosses the ground from edge to edge. Inside sit the logo, the organisation, the program, the award level and the year, in tall condensed capitals like stadium signage, and they stay readable at thumbnail size. It suits any sport, not only athletics.

About

Sports Champion Badge Template, Running Track Oval

A sports badge travels further than a certificate on a wall. Schools issue one after sports day or the end-of-year awards assembly, clubs give it at the season's presentation night, and coaches use it for a league winner, a house champion or the athlete of the year. Students and their parents share it, and older athletes add it to a profile or a scholarship application, where the issuer's name proves where it was earned.

Subject: Congratulations, name: your sports award is here

Hi name,

What a season. Your effort at every training session and on match days did not go unnoticed, and the coaching team is proud to present you with this sports award.

Your certificate and badge are ready. Open them to see your award, download a copy to print for your wall, or share it with your family, friends and team mates. If you are applying for a team or a scholarship, it is a good record to show them.

Well done, and see you at training next season.
