Design notes

The landscape page is built like a hand-turned ballpark scoreboard. The player's name is painted large on a green board under the club logo, above a nine-inning line score of cream number plates where the red X marks the home team's win. Below it on the grid sit the program, a short statement, six season highlights, division, games played and position, two signatures, and a footer with the date, a unique ID and a code to scan. It suits leagues that want a keepsake with real detail.

Baseball Season Award Certificate, Scoreboard Landscape

A season award tells a young player that the coaches noticed the whole year: the steady bat, the sure hands, the hustle on every play. Little League clubs, school teams and travel programmes usually present it at the last game or the team party, signed by the head coach and the league president, and parents often frame it next to the team photo.

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
