Design notes

This landscape certificate lays out a routine of eight counts as a frieze: Hips, Low V, T, Diagonal, L, Punch, Touchdown and High V, each with its number and name, standing on one line across the page. Only count eight, the High V, is gold, like the Cheer Award title. Above it sit the name, the program, a statement and the season highlights. Below are two signatures, season details, the credential ID and a scannable code for verification.

About

Cheer Award Certificate Template, Eight Count

Cheer awards mark more than a good season. Coaches use them for most improved, best spirit, leadership and team player, and school clubs, youth leagues and competitive gyms hand them out at banquets and the last game of the year. A good one says what the athlete did and who signed it.

Wording on the template“In recognition of outstanding spirit, skill and teamwork this season. Every count hit sharp, every stunt held with trust, and every game day led with energy that lifted the whole squad and the crowd behind it.”

Subject: Your cheer award is ready, name

Hi name,

Thank you for a great season. Your spirit, your work at practice and the way you lifted the squad on game days did not go unnoticed, and we want to recognise it properly.

Your cheer award is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your wall, or share it online so family and friends can celebrate with you.

Well done from the whole squad and the coaching team.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Proud to share my cheer award for this season. Every practice, every stunt group and every game day taught me about teamwork, trust and leading with energy, and I am thankful to my coaches and my squad. On to the next count. #cheerleading #teamwork #leadership

Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.

Certificate

  • A full record: name, statement, skills, dates and signatures
  • Printed and framed, or kept as a PDF
  • Opens to a page anyone can verify

Digital badge

  • A small image people put on LinkedIn and in email signatures
