Design notes

The page shows one pool lane from above. Two lane ropes of yellow floats run across the page and turn red near the finish wall, and a dark floor line under the name ends in the T that tells a swimmer the wall is close. Above it sit the logo spot, the organisation name and the title. Below are two signatures, the issue date and a QR code for verification. It fits clubs, schools and lesson programs for children and adults.

Swimming Certificate Template for Swim Lessons

A swimming certificate of achievement marks the end of a swim course or a season. Swim schools, leisure centres, school PE teams and swim clubs give it for finishing a learn-to-swim level, for a personal best or for an award of merit. The wording is usually warm and short: the swimmer's name, what they completed and who taught them.

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
