Design notes

The landscape page is drawn as the chart a supervisor sits in. The organisation's logo card sits at the top, a line runs down into the recipient's name card with its amber LEAD tab and the program, and a bus branches to four crew cards that list what the training covered. Under the chart come the statement, the duration, format and level, two signatures and a QR code; the issue date and credential ID sit in the top right corner. The wide format suits a frame on an office or depot wall.

About

Supervisor Training Certificate, First Line Landscape

Supervisor training prepares people who are moving from doing the work to leading the people who do it. A typical program covers the supervisor's role and responsibilities, giving clear feedback, planning shifts and workloads, and handling conflict before it grows. HR and learning and development teams issue this certificate when new team leads complete the course, and training providers give it to every participant in an open supervisor program.

Wording on the template“Completed 12 hours of practical training for first-line supervisors and showed the skills to lead a team day to day: setting clear expectations, giving useful feedback, planning shifts and workloads, and resolving conflict early and fairly.”

Subject: name, your supervisor training certificate is ready

Hi name,

Congratulations on completing your supervisor training. Leading a team is a different job from being part of one, and the work you put into the sessions on feedback, planning and handling conflict will help you and your crew from the first shift.

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print, or share your badge on LinkedIn so your network knows about your new role.

We are glad to have you leading the team.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I have just completed supervisor training and received my certificate. The sessions on giving feedback, planning workloads and handling conflict changed how I think about leading a team. Thank you to my trainers and to my manager for the support as I step into this role. Looking forward to growing with my crew. #Leadership #SupervisorTraining

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
