Design notes
This landscape design shows the two parties of that agreement as two parts of one sheet, cut apart along a line of rounded teeth. The narrow part on the left belongs to the issuer: the logo, the organisation name and the signatures of the workplace supervisor and the training manager. The wider part on the right holds the apprentice's name, the program, a short statement, four numbered competencies, the duration, the training mode, the issue date and a QR code. An oxblood seal with an ampersand sits across the cut, and the same credential number is printed on each side of the cut.
About
Apprenticeship Certificate Template, Split Seal Landscape
An apprenticeship joins paid work with structured learning. The apprentice trains on the job under a workplace supervisor, studies the related theory in a classroom or online, and finishes with an assessment of competence in the occupation. Employers, colleges and training providers give a certificate of completion at the end of the term, and it is often the document an apprentice keeps for their whole career.
Wording on the template“For serving the full term of this apprenticeship: supervised work on the job, related technical instruction and a final assessment, in which the apprentice was found competent in the occupation.”More wording ideas for apprenticeship certificates

Subject: Congratulations, name: your apprenticeship is complete
Hi name,
You did it. You have finished your apprenticeship, and everyone who worked beside you has seen how much you learned along the way, on the job and in the classroom.
Your certificate of completion is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print and frame, or share it on LinkedIn so your network knows you are now fully trained.
We are proud of you and glad to have been part of your start. Well done.
Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.
Post for the recipient to share
I have completed my apprenticeship. It meant long days of learning on the job, evenings of study and a final assessment, and I would do it all again. Thank you to my supervisor and my team for teaching me with patience and for trusting me with real work from the first week. Here is my certificate of completion. #Apprenticeship #EarlyCareers #SkillsDevelopment

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
