Design notes

This landscape certificate turns that review into the layout. The name runs across the page in a flowing script, and below it the record sits on the left: the program, a short citation, the category, the selector, the issue date, the credential ID, two signatures and a QR code. On the right, a five-point rating panel lists each competency, with the fifth ring filled in claret inside a blush column. It suits companies that want a modern, quiet award for the office wall.

About

Employee Excellence Certificate Template, Top Marks

An employee excellence award goes to the person whose work stands out across the whole year, not only in one project. Most employers base it on the annual performance review: the line manager rates quality of work, objectives, professionalism and innovation, and a review panel or the people team confirms the choice before the award is presented at a year-end meeting or a company gathering.

Wording on the template“Rated outstanding in every competency of the annual review, for work of consistently exceptional quality that went beyond its objectives, raised standards and set the example for the whole team.”

Subject: name, you have earned our Employee Excellence Award

Hi name,

Your work this year was rated outstanding, and we are proud to present you with our Employee Excellence Award. The quality you brought, the goals you went beyond and the example you set for the team did not go unnoticed.

Your certificate is ready. Open it to see the award, download a copy to print, and add it to your LinkedIn profile to share the news with your network.

Congratulations, and thank you for an exceptional year.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I am honoured to receive this year's Employee Excellence Award. It means a lot to see a year of hard work recognised, and none of it happened alone: thank you to my manager and my team for the support, the feedback and the high standards we set for each other. On to the next year. #EmployeeExcellence #Recognition

Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
