Design notes

This landscape page is that hallway board. A tomato scalloped border over a marigold strip frames a butter-coloured board, and a sentence strip carries the program at the top. Under it, a large white name card is pinned up with the organisation, the student's name in a marker hand, the reason line and a short statement. Three tilted paper slips list what the teachers noticed. Along the foot, the month, class, issue date and credential ID sit beside two signatures, with the QR code on its own pinned card. It suits classroom walls and a fridge door at home.

About

Student of the Month Certificate, Hallway Board Landscape

Every month, many elementary and middle schools pick one student from each class whose effort, kindness or attitude stood out. A class teacher usually puts the name forward, the principal agrees, and the award is handed over at an assembly or in class, then posted on the board by the office for families and other classes to see. The reason matters more than grades here: it names the habits a school wants to grow.

Wording on the template“Chosen by your teachers, who saw it every day this month: you lead by example in class and on the playground, you lift up the people around you, and you make our school a happier place to learn. We are all so proud of you.”

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
