Design notes

A full-width navy band holds the windmill, the underhand arm circle that every fastpitch pitcher learns, with the yellow ball at six o'clock and a fine release line leaving to the right. Below it sit the centred player name, a statement, skill chips and a grid of six details: season, division, position, games played, date and credential ID. Two signatures stand either side of the QR code.

About

Softball Award Certificate Template, Windmill Portrait

Tall pages suit frames, and a framed award is what many softball families keep from a season. This portrait certificate is meant for the end-of-season banquet, where each player on the roster is handed a page that looks like the team's own.

Wording on the template“Recognised for an outstanding season in the circle and at the plate: hard work at every practice, big plays in every game and a team-first spirit that lifted the whole roster from opening day to the final out. Thank you for every inning.”

The email and the post, written for you

Subject: Your softball season award is ready, name

Hi name,

What a season. Thank you for every practice, every inning and every cheer from the dugout. Your season award is ready, and we are proud to share it with you.

You can download it, print it for your wall and share the badge with family and friends. See you at the field next season.

Your coaches

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Our softball season ended this week, and I received my season award. It was a long run of early practices, tough games and great teammates. Thank you to my coaches for believing in me and to the team for making every inning fun. Cannot wait for next spring. #Softball #TeamSports #Fastpitch

Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.

Certificate

  • Printed and framed, or kept as a PDF
  • Opens to a page anyone can verify

Digital badge

  • A small image people put on LinkedIn and in email signatures
  • Carries the verified details inside it (Open Badges 2.0)
  • One click shows who earned it and who issued it
