Design notes
This badge is a midnight stopwatch with a crown, a side pusher and a ticked rim. An orange run arc starts at a hollow kickoff ring by the crown and runs all the way round into the finish knob, so the whole event fits in one turn of the dial. On the light face sit the organiser's logo and name, the hackathon's name, a straight SHIPPED band, the level PARTICIPANT and the year, all in a clean grotesque and a monospace face that stay readable at thumbnail size.
About
Hackathon Badge Template, Stopwatch Run Sheet
After the final demo, most hackers want something they can post that same night. A digital badge does that job: it goes on a LinkedIn profile, a GitHub README or a project page, and it shows that the holder stayed through the build, shipped a prototype and stood in front of the judges. University tech clubs, student chapters, company innovation teams and civic tech groups issue one to every participant, and often a second badge to the winning teams.

Subject: name, your hackathon certificate is ready
Hi name,
Thank you for building with us. You formed a team, worked through the deadline and showed the judges what you made, and that is worth keeping a record of.
Your certificate of participation is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print, or share it on LinkedIn next to a link to your project so your network can see what you built.
We hope to see you at the next kickoff.
Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.
Post for the recipient to share
Last weekend our team went from a blank repo to a working prototype in 48 hours, then pitched it to the judges on demo day. Very little sleep, a lot of learning, and great teammates. Proud to share my hackathon certificate of participation. Thank you to the organisers and mentors who made it happen. #Hackathon #BuildInPublic

Yes. Every text, colour and drawing is its own layer in the studio. Add your logo in the logo spot; the design keeps its balance with a wide or a square logo.

Yes. This design is part of a set: Run Sheet Hackathon Certificate and Run Sheet Hackathon Certificate, Portrait. Issue them together so the certificate and the badge read as one award for hackathon.
