Design notes

The portrait layout turns the page into a pitch seen from above, with the goal at the top. The marker-drawn play sits in the box there, the red circle for the recipient sending the assist across, while the record runs down the centre: organisation, award title, name, program, citation, six qualities in two columns, details, issue date and credential ID. The two signatures stand on the halfway line and the QR code rests in the centre circle. The tall format frames well on an office wall or a desk.

About

Teamwork Certificate Template, The Assist Portrait

Some of the most valuable people in any workplace never top a leaderboard. They answer the question nobody else had time for, pick up an extra shift and check a colleague's work before a deadline. A team player of the year certificate makes that visible. It is usually given at an annual staff awards event or a department town hall, chosen through peer votes, and signed by the team lead together with someone from HR or people operations.

Wording on the template“Recognised by colleagues for making everyone around them better: sharing the load, covering when it counts, passing on what they know and setting others up to succeed. Every great result has an assist, and this one is theirs.”

Subject: name, your team has named you Team Player of the Year

Dear name,

Congratulations! Your colleagues nominated you as our Team Player of the Year. Again and again, their nominations described someone who shares the load, steps in when it counts and makes every project easier for the people around them.

Your award certificate is ready. Open it to read what the team recognised you for, download a copy to print for your desk, and share it on LinkedIn if you would like to.

Thank you for everything you do for the team.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I am honoured to be named Team Player of the Year, especially because the nomination came from my colleagues. Nothing I did this year happened alone: every project worked because we covered for each other and shared what we knew. Thank you to a team that makes coming to work a pleasure. #Teamwork #EmployeeRecognition

Recipients share it with one click from their credential page, with the badge attached.

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
