Design notes

The portrait version stands the player timeline on its side. The name, series and statement fill the upper half on a wide measure, and below them a vertical navy track runs down the left margin from a LIVE tag to a round playhead on the signature line. Each chapter of the session sits beside its notch, with duration, credits, format, language, the end date and the credential ID stepping down the right. A QR code closes the lower corner. The tall format prints well on A4 or Letter for a portfolio binder.

About

Webinar Participation Certificate, Session Scrubber Portrait

A webinar series for teachers, a continuing education talk from an industry body or a guest lecture streamed to students: each ends with attendees asking for a record they can file. A certificate of participation answers that with the session title, the date it ran, its length and the credit it earns, signed by the host and a program lead.

Wording on the template“Joined the session live and stayed to the end: from the opening expert presentation, through the worked case examples, to the final question of the open Q&A with the speakers and fellow attendees.”

Subject: Thanks for joining us live, name: your webinar certificate

Hi name,

Thank you for joining today's webinar live and staying with us to the end of the Q&A. Your questions and comments made the session better for everyone.

Your certificate of attendance is ready. Open it to see the session details, download a copy for your CPD log or to print, or share it on LinkedIn so your network knows what you have been learning.

We hope to see you at the next session.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

Spent an hour today at a live webinar on classroom assessment and came away with three ideas I will try with my class next week. The live Q&A was the best part: real questions from teachers in very different schools. Thank you to the presenters for sharing their time. Certificate added to my CPD record. #ProfessionalDevelopment #Webinar #Teaching

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.

  • A full record: name, statement, skills, dates and signatures
  • Printed and framed, or kept as a PDF
  • Opens to a page anyone can verify

Digital badge

  • A small image people put on LinkedIn and in email signatures
