Design notes
The portrait version centres the name, the program and the statement on one axis, then lets the five-bay run cross the page as its divider: sole boards, standards and ledgers, a facade brace, a boarded platform and finally the full guardrail with its toe board. Below it, ruled rows list the duration, standard, level, issue date, valid-until date and credential ID beside two signatures and a QR code. The tall layout fits a frame on a site office wall or an A4 or Letter folder.
About
Scaffolding Certificate Template, Bay by Bay Portrait
Many sites ask for proof of scaffold training before a worker may use a platform, and contractors keep a copy in each person's training file. Employers, scaffolding companies and safety training centres give the certificate when the course ends, often with a refresher date for when the scaffold type, the work or the site rules change. It records training in how a scaffold is put up, inspected and used safely; it is not a scaffolder's card or a licence.
Wording on the template“has completed training in erecting, inspecting and using tube-and-fitting scaffolds, from sole boards and base plates to guardrails and toe boards, and the checks before every use.”More wording ideas for scaffolding safety certificates

Subject: name, your scaffold safety training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Thank you for completing scaffold safety training with us. You now know how a scaffold goes up bay by bay, what to check before you climb, how to read the tag at the access point, and why you never overload a platform or remove a rail or a board.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your site file, or share it on LinkedIn. It shows when your refresher is due.
Work safely up there.

Post for the recipient to share
I completed scaffold safety training this week. We walked a scaffold from the sole boards up, checked base plates, braces, ties, boards, guardrails and toe boards, and practised reading the inspection tag before climbing. The lesson I keep: if something looks wrong, stay off and report it. #ScaffoldSafety #ConstructionSafety #WorkingAtHeight

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
