Design notes
This landscape certificate draws that sequence as one tube-and-fitting run across the page, each of its five bays one step further on, from bare sole boards to the guarded platform, with the numbered steps beneath it as the skills list. The worker's name, the program and a short statement sit above, two signatures stand at the right, and a record row gives the duration, standard, level, issue and valid-until dates, credential ID and a QR code. It suits a site training file or a toolbox talk record.
About
Scaffolding Certificate Template, Bay by Bay Landscape
Scaffold training is given before a worker first goes onto a scaffold and again when the work changes. Construction contractors, scaffolding firms, maintenance teams and training providers run it for erectors, for the trades who work from the platforms and for the supervisors who check them. A sound course follows the build: firm footing on sole boards and base plates, standards and ledgers set plumb and level, bracing and ties for stability, fully boarded platforms kept within their load rating, and guardrails and toe boards at every open edge.
Wording on the template“has completed training in erecting, inspecting and using tube-and-fitting scaffolds, from sole boards and base plates to guardrails and toe boards, and the checks before every use.”More wording ideas for scaffolding safety certificates

Subject: name, your scaffold safety training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Thank you for completing scaffold safety training with us. You now know how a scaffold goes up bay by bay, what to check before you climb, how to read the tag at the access point, and why you never overload a platform or remove a rail or a board.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your site file, or share it on LinkedIn. It shows when your refresher is due.
Work safely up there.

Post for the recipient to share
I completed scaffold safety training this week. We walked a scaffold from the sole boards up, checked base plates, braces, ties, boards, guardrails and toe boards, and practised reading the inspection tag before climbing. The lesson I keep: if something looks wrong, stay off and report it. #ScaffoldSafety #ConstructionSafety #WorkingAtHeight

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
Certificate or badge?
