Design notes
The wide sheet is laid out like an issued construction drawing. A lettered and numbered column grid sets out the page, a dimension string marked 10 HOURS spans the bay above the recipient's name, and the program sits under it with a short statement. The skills appear as numbered hexagon keynote tags, an orange APPROVED stamp carries the issue date, and a ruled title block down the right edge holds the issuer, duration, standard, level, two signatures, a QR code for checking it and the credential ID.
About
Construction Certificate Template, Column Grid Landscape
General contractors, subcontractors, trade schools and union apprenticeship programs issue a training certificate when a worker completes a construction course: a site safety induction, a 10-hour hazard awareness class or a skills module on scaffolds, ladders and power tools. It gives the worker a record to show the next employer and gives the site a record for its training file, next to the hours, the standard covered (such as OSHA 29 CFR 1926) and the level.
Wording on the template“Completed classroom and site-based safety training and showed safe work practice, hazard awareness and sound judgement on an active construction site.”More wording ideas for construction training certificates

Subject: name, your construction training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Well done on finishing your construction training. You put in the hours, learned to spot the hazards and showed you can work safely on site.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see the course, the hours and the skills it covers. You can download a copy for your records, print it for the site office, or add it to your LinkedIn profile so future employers can check it.
Stay safe out there, and thank you for taking the training seriously.

Post for the recipient to share
I just finished my construction safety training: 10 hours on fall protection, scaffolds, power tools and hazard communication. Every site I work on now, I know what to look for before something goes wrong. Thanks to the trainers who made it practical and to my crew for the support. #ConstructionSafety #SkilledTrades

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it on its side, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
Certificate or badge?
