Design notes
The portrait page becomes that wall chart. A full-height scale stands at the right edge, hot hold at the top and cold hold at the foot, and two fine red rules carry the 60 °C and 5 °C lines across the page. The name sits on the upper rule; the program, statement, skills and dates fill the danger-zone span; the signature, credential ID and QR code rest in the cold-hold foot. The tall format suits a binder, a notice board or a frame near the pass.
About
Food Handler Certificate Template, Danger Zone Portrait
Kitchens put a temperature chart on the wall because food handlers check it all day: chilled food stays cold, hot food stays hot, and the band between them is where bacteria grow fast. Food handler training teaches that chart together with hand washing, cross-contamination, cleaning and allergen control. A restaurant group, a school food service or a training company can give this certificate to staff who completed the course and passed the test, as its own training record rather than an official card or permit.
Wording on the template“has completed food handler training and passed the final assessment, showing safe practice in personal hygiene, preventing cross-contamination, keeping food out of the temperature danger zone, cleaning and allergen control.”More wording ideas for food handler certificates

Post for the recipient to share
I have completed food handler training and passed the final test. The course covered hand washing, keeping raw and ready-to-eat food apart, temperature control and allergens, which I will use on every shift. Thank you to our trainer for making it practical. Safe food starts with the people who handle it. #FoodSafety #Hospitality #KitchenLife

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
