Design notes
The portrait page lets the hose do what it does in a real drill: it runs out across the page, makes one flat turn and comes back, so the line fills the width twice. Every length is the same, each stencilled with one skill, and the last length carries the issue date before the male coupling. The duration, level and credential ID sit inside the loop, with the name and program above and two signatures and a QR code below. It fits a binder, a station noticeboard or a framed print.
About
Firefighter Certificate Template, Hose Line Portrait
Every new firefighter is taught to count a hose line in lengths: how many to lay from the pump, where each coupling falls and how to make the line tidy on the ground. That counting is part of a wider course in fire behavior, ladders, breathing apparatus, search and rescue and hazmat awareness, finished with live-fire training under instructors. Recruit academies, volunteer brigades and industrial fire teams give a certificate like this one when a trainee has shown each skill to the training staff.

Subject: name, your firefighter training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Congratulations on finishing your firefighter training. Weeks of drills, hose lays, ladder raises and work in breathing apparatus are behind you, and you showed every skill on the line to the training staff.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see the record of your training, download a copy to print for your file or your wall, and share your badge on LinkedIn.
Welcome to the crew. We are glad to have you.

Post for the recipient to share
I graduated from firefighter recruit training this week. Months of drills on the hose and the ladders, hours in breathing apparatus and live-fire training with a great crew of instructors. I am proud of the work and ready to keep learning on the job. #Firefighter #FireAcademy

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
