Design notes
This portrait version suits a binder, a site office wall or a printed training record. The anchor, the lanyard with its opened energy absorber and the orange dorsal D-ring run down the left, measured by a dimension chain. Each band beside the chain holds one part of the record: the title and program with a statement, then the course details, the name on the D-ring level, six competencies with the dates and credential ID, and finally two signatures and the QR code above the hatched ground.
About
Working at Height Certificate Template, Clearance Portrait
A working at height course is for anyone whose job takes them to an edge, a roof, a tower or a raised platform. After the course, the trainee can assess a fall hazard, select and check an anchor point, put on and adjust a harness, connect a lanyard correctly, allow for the drop the system needs below the work and say how a fallen worker would be reached quickly. Employers keep this certificate in the site file, and a supervisor often asks for it before signing a work permit.
Wording on the template“Trained to plan, rig and inspect a personal fall arrest system: from the anchorage and the harness to the fall clearance below and a prompt rescue plan.”More wording ideas for fall protection certificates

Subject: name, your fall protection training certificate is ready
Hi name,
Thank you for completing fall protection training with us. You now know how to choose an anchorage, fit and inspect your harness, check your connectors and lanyard, allow for the clearance below you, and what the rescue plan asks of everyone on the team.
Your certificate is ready. Open it to see it, download a copy to print for your site file, or share it on LinkedIn. It shows when your refresher is due, and we will remind you before then.
Work safely up there.

Post for the recipient to share
I completed fall protection training this week. We inspected our harnesses webbing by webbing, picked anchorages, worked out the clearance needed below a lanyard and practised a rescue plan. The biggest lesson: the system only works if you check it every time and know who will come for you. #FallProtection #WorkingAtHeight #WorkplaceSafety

Printing
Printing it well
Print at actual size
Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.
Use card, not paper
A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.
Frame it
A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.
Mind the edges
Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.
