Design notes

The customer's question opens the thread. Below it a full-width navy bubble holds the certificate title, the recipient's name, the program and the statement, with the skills as chips inside. The five-star rating comes as the last turn on the right, and the foot adds the date, reference number, two signatures and a QR code. A good fit for support teams, help desks and service-training graduates.

About

Customer Service Certificate Portrait, Chat Reply

Portrait certificates suit awards that are handed over in a folder or hung in a corridor. For customer service, the taller page lets the whole conversation stack from top to bottom, the way a chat does on a phone screen.

Wording on the template“Recognised for service customers remember: listening first, solving problems at the first contact, showing real empathy and turning every conversation into a five-star experience.”

Subject: Thank you, name: customers rate your service 5 stars

Hi name,

Customers notice how you help them, and so do we. Thank you for the care, patience and clear answers you give every day.

Your customer service certificate is ready. Open it to read the citation, then download a copy to print or save, or share it on LinkedIn so others can see your work.

Well done, and thank you.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I was awarded a customer service excellence certificate this week. Good service is mostly listening first and fixing the real problem, and it was lovely to have that noticed. Thank you to my team and to every customer who took the time to tell us how we did. #CustomerService #CustomerExperience

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.

Certificate

  • A full record: name, statement, skills, dates and signatures
  • Printed and framed, or kept as a PDF
  • Opens to a page anyone can verify

Digital badge

  • A small image people put on LinkedIn and in email signatures
  • Carries the verified details inside it (Open Badges 2.0)
  • One click shows who earned it and who issued it
