Design notes

The tall layout stands the lift on a centre axis. Its guarded platform at the top holds the name, the program and a short statement, and the crossed orange and rust arms rise beneath it to the chassis. Ticks from the pins branch to both sides: the skills assessed and the QR code on the left, the program record with the issue date, valid-until date and credential ID on the right. Two signatures sit either side of the chassis.

About

Aerial Lift Training Certificate, Side Elevation Portrait

On many sites a supervisor checks the training file before a scissor or boom lift goes up, and a portrait page fits that file and the site office wall. This certificate records that a worker completed aerial lift training and was evaluated at the controls, with who ran the evaluation, the date of issue and the date a refresher is due. Many employers retrain operators on a fixed cycle, and again after an incident or when an operator moves to a different type of lift.

Wording on the template“Trained in the safe use of mobile elevating work platforms, scissor and boom lifts, and evaluated at the controls in a hands-on practical session.”

Subject: Your aerial lift training certificate, name

Hi name,

Well done on finishing your aerial lift operator training and passing the practical evaluation at the controls. Your certificate is ready.

Open it to see your training record, download a copy to print for your file, or add it to your LinkedIn profile. A supervisor or a new site manager can check it at any time with the QR code.

Please keep an eye on the valid-until date, so you can book your refresher in good time. Work safe up there.

Hyperstack fills in each person’s name and link when it sends.

Post for the recipient to share

I have finished my aerial lift operator training and passed the practical evaluation on scissor and boom lifts. The course covered the pre-use inspection, tip-over hazards and how to stay protected at height. Thanks to my trainer for a hands-on and patient session. Safe work at height starts on the ground, and I am glad to have my training record. #WorkAtHeight #MEWP #SafetyTraining

Printing

Printing it well

Print at actual size

Choose “Actual size” or 100% in the print dialog, not “Fit to page”, so the margins and the QR code keep their size.

Use card, not paper

A matte or silk card of 200–300 gsm (about 80–110 lb cover) feels like an award and does not curl in a frame.

Frame it

A4 fits a standard 21 × 29.7 cm frame; US Letter fits an 8.5 × 11 in frame, or an 11 × 14 in frame with a mat. Hang it upright, as designed.

Mind the edges

Most home printers leave a thin white border. For a design that runs to the edge, use a print shop or your printer’s borderless setting.

Certificate or badge?

Send both. They do different jobs.
